Dr. Poonputt Chotiprasidhi, M.D.
AKA – Dr. Eddie

Poonputt Chotiprasidhi, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Digestive Disease Specialists. He works closely with patients at the Moline, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa office to help them lead healthy and happy lives.
Dr. Chotiprasidhi (also known as “Dr. Eddie”) was born in the United States but grew up in Thailand. He received his medical degree from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduating, he completed his internal medicine residency at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York, and his gastroenterology fellowship at the OU Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

After his fellowship, Dr. Eddie was on clinical staff as an assistant professor at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

He elected to pursue an additional year of specialized training in advanced endoscopy, including ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasound. With this education, he can provide expertise in biliary and pancreatic disorders along with the staging of certain gastrointestinal and non-small cell lung cancer. Dr. Eddie can also perform the ablation procedure for Barrett’s esophagus, known as HALO.

Dr. Eddie has been practicing gastroenterology in the Quad Cities, a region of cities in Iowa and Illinois, since 2004. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Eddie is a member of the Rock Island County Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Physicians.


Ahmad Cheema, M.D.

Ahmad Cheema, MD, is a gastroenterology specialist serving patients at Digestive Disease Specialists with offices in Moline, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa. He provides compassionate, high-quality care to those experiencing digestive discomfort or pain.

Dr. Cheema earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Lincoln Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

He completed fellowships in gastroenterology, hepatology, nutrition, therapeutic endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound at Loyola University Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Cheema is board-certified in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. His clinical interests include the treatment of acid reflux, constipation, hemorrhoids, and small bowel imaging.

As an American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) Fellow, Dr. Cheema trained in general gastrointestinal, hepatology, nutrition, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.
He has been in practice in the Quad Cities and Clinton, Illinois, for over 11 years. In addition to English, he is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Dr. Cheema is married and has four children.        


Chelsea Mausser, ARNP

Chelsea Mausser, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, working with patients at Digestive Disease Specialists. While the practice has offices in Moline, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa, Chelsea operates in the Iowa office specializing in gastroenterological conditions.

Chelsea received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. She earned her master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Her extensive background in nursing includes working as a gastrointestinal staff nurse and travel nurse in hospital-based endoscopy centers in California, Colorado, and North Carolina. She is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

In 2020, Chelsea joined the Digestive Disease Specialists team, aiming to positively impact her patient’s daily health.

She lives in Bettendorf, Iowa, with her husband, daughter, and Labrador retriever. Chelsea enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends in her free time.


Bobbi Park, ARNP

Bobbi Park, ARNP, is a Quad Cities area native. She works as a nurse practitioner at Digestive Disease Specialists, located in Moline, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa.

Bobbi earned her associate’s degree in nursing at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. She then completer her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. After graduating, Bobbi obtained her master’s degree in nursing through Chamberlain

College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Bobbi brings over nine years of GI experience to the Digestive Disease Specialists team. With this knowledge, she can improve the lives of her patients by managing their conditions and keeping symptoms at bay.

She is married with two grown daughters.


Tammy Torsch, ARNP

Tammy Torsch, ARNP, is a nurse practitioner providing friendly and quality care to patients at Digestive Disease Specialists, located in Moline, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa.

Tammy grew up in Southeast Iowa. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa. She then received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Rock Island, Illinois.

Her nursing experience includes working on the Neurology unit. She was also a case manager for hospice, and she assisted with pain procedures as an RN. Tammy spent 10 years as a nursing assistant, working with endoscopies next to Dr. Chotiprasidhi and Dr. Cheema, as well as other proceduralists.

She returned to school and obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Tammy is board-certified in family practice and has been a resident of the Quad Cities since 1992.

She is married and has two children.
